In the early years of worship at The Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, a pioneering group of passionate worshippers shaped the spiritual atmosphere of the ministry.

This group, known as Avalanche, carried the church's earliest sound, cultivating musical depth, introducing structure, and defining what it meant to minister with excellence.

Each cohort carried the same heart: to steward the presence of God with reverence and skill. Through these seasons, a foundation was laid — one that would support every expression of worship that followed.

As the church stepped into a fresh move of God, a new expression of music rose to meet the moment.

This expression brought colour, creativity, and a cultural edge that resonated deeply with a younger generation. That expression became known as The Gratitude.

With vibrant artistry, modern sounds, choreography, and fearless experimentation, The Gratitude introduced a new dimension of worship.

Songs from this movement began shaping youth culture within and beyond the church, offering a fresh encounter with God through contemporary gospel.

As time unfolded, God began shifting the direction of the music ministry. The ministry was being prepared for something more unified — an identity that would represent the entire church, all generations, and every expression of worship under one sound.

Out of this transition emerged a renewed identity — COZA City Music.

COZA City Music now stands as the worship identity of the house — a collective dedicated to releasing sounds that draw people into deeper encounters with Jesus.
